NOTABLE LEAGUE RULES:
AZSL will be following FAI Canopy Piloting Rules, including the following USPA rules (SCM Ch. 12):
- Three (3) Classes: Intermediate, Advanced & Open
- Canopy Type Restrictions for Intermediate & Advanced
AZSL will establish the following revisions:
- Speed Course: Modified Inside G2, G3 & G4 for Supine Harness Safety
- Distance Course: Modified Entry Gate 1 for Supine Harness Safety
- Supine Harness Use: Open Class Only
NOTE: AZSL rule revisions only apply to AZSL meets.
For USPA CP Nationals or any other league meets, please refer to those rules to ensure you are complying with the league requirements and protocols. AZSL will not be responsible for any outcomes resulting from following AZSL procedures at non-AZSL events.
Please contact meet/league organizers if you have any questions or concerns regarding the rules or their meet requirements.
EXHIBITION MEET PRIOR TO THE FAI WORLD CUP:
The only meet that will enforce FAI rules will be the exhibition meet prior to World Cup 2025, hosted by Skydive Arizona. Competitors will be reminded of this at the mandatory competitors’ briefing. This competition will not be included in the AZSL season standings, so it’s a no pressure warm-up for Worlds.
